The subtle art of slow living.
Hello, there people. This is your thamizh here. It's been a long time since I posted my last blog here on this blog page. I wanted to be consistent but got stuck with my academics lately. let's start today's blog with a question. Have you ever felt like you are rushing over everything in life? It may be your studies, career, or even a relationship with people. The answer for most of us would be yes to everything. The statistics of people rushing in their lives to complete many tasks or goals without even realizing their life purpose are increasing daily.
Based on the reports, modern people are more likely to be doing things that can add value to their lives just for the namesake of society. If an individual is rushing over things with the intention of just completion and future presence he might not have earned any valuable joyful memories to carry over during his last days of living. Here comes the concept of "slow living" from great philosophers like Marcus Aurelius from Rome.
The art of slow living or Slow Movement focuses on the lifestyle where the individual does minimum tasks or goals for his life with full involvement in it and thus enjoys and experiences every moment of his life along with nature and nurturing around him. A man who is rushing over his life can make 10 tasks in a day but he would have barely enjoyed the task and gained less experience from it. Whereas in the other hand, the person who is in a slow movement toward his life can do fewer tasks compared to him but he much more enjoys that task with a complete gain of knowledge on what he has done.
This slow-moving lifestyle prioritizes quality over quantity. The slow-living philosophy has a lot of benefits both physically and mentally. It helps to focus our minds and reduce stress in life as we concentrate on one task at a time. It improves work-life balance which is very hard to maintain in this generation. Slow living can help you to cope with relationships with people as you are more likely to enjoy each and every single moment of life.
The modern-day viral social media challenges like Project 50 were based on the philosophy of slow living which examines mental toughness and improves your quality of life. This fast-moving world with fast-moving people will never care about anyone except themselves. Living life is the most underrated gift of humans which we forget to praise so, be grateful to yourself for this life. See you all with another interesting content here on this blog page until then this is your thamizh signing off.
